Thread of Love: Mother & Daughter Tea

On a beautiful fall afternoon, Cheder mothers and daughters came together for a special Mother & Daughter Tea, themed "The Thread of Love" in honor of Rachel Imeinu, whose yahrzeit was marked that week.
Mrs. Chavi Rosenblum welcomed everyone with the theme: a mother's love never ends. It stretches across distance, across time, and across generations - and its strongest strand is Torah, passed from mother to daughter.
The girls led the afternoon. Bracha Rosenblum and Chana Zirkind led the Rebbe's and Rebbetzin's kapitlach of Tehillim, and the first grade girls performed "My Dear Ima." A short film prepared especially for the Tea featured our own students, and Mrs. Raksin shared words of Torah on behalf of Mrs. Sarah Brafman, marking the upcoming yahrzeit of her mother, Mrs. Perel Herson.
Over a delicious luncheon, mothers and daughters created a craft together and enjoyed each other's company - each mother adding her own strand to the thread.
Thank you to the Kalmenson family, the Herson and Brafman families for co-sponsoring the event and to the Cheder Vaad for enabling programs like this. Thank you to our principals, Mrs. Chani Faiden and Mrs. Etty Bogomilsky, for their dedication to our daughters, day in and day out.
